Tyme Johnsona.k.a Tyme is an aspiring superstar! Tyme goes on to say "I decided it was time to write a book. I’ve always had the music aspect covered so what better topic for a book than my struggle to become that superstar. This project has become a trilogy. I released the first CD, A Matter of Time, after I moved to Manhattan. After a life changing tragedy in Manhattan, I spent three years writing about my struggle to stardom. This book is called A Matter of Tyme: The Book (A Musician’s Manhattan Experience of Love, Tragedy, Determination, and Growth). I have created a soundtrack that completes the trilogy. It is called, A Matter of Tyme: The Soundtrack. The soundtrack consists of songs that are written to coincide with the book. For example, the single, “Want My Keys”, coincides with a chapter in the book where I literally go to a boyfriend’s house and snatch my keys from him! As an independent artist, I like the fact that I was able to develop this concept and bring it to life. Now it is time to bring it to the public in a BIG way. In order to promote my soundtrack and CD I have also created a YouTube reality series called “Tyme Johnson- Making It In Manhattan”. I use this channel to focus on the day-to-day life of trying to make it in the big city. This reality series coincides with the music and book. At the end of each segment, I encourage my viewers to purchase the items by referring them to my video links below ."
