Nema William’seffortless ability to adapt to any audience has secured his spot as one of the funniest, most talented comedians on the circuit. His hard hitting, fast paced, laugh-out-loud-funny stand up show has made him a featured college act for the Black Comedy Tour and the Comedy Cabaret Tour earning him return appearances at prestigious colleges such as Notre Dame, Howard, Georgetown, and USC. His list of credits continue to grow including 7 seasons of BET’s Comic View, BET’s Caliente, Jamie Foxx’s Laffapalooza, Showtime’s Whiteboyz in Da Hood, Cedric the Entertainer’s Starting Lineup, Lifetime’s What Should You Do, P.Diddy’s Bad Boys of Comedy, and Comedy Central’s Comic Groove and Comic Remix. Nema recently finished filming a spot on the new season of One Mic Stand on BET set to premiere this fall.
He has welcomed the opportunity to take his talent on the road performing in comedy clubs and colleges across the country, also taking part in several USO tours in Korea, Japan, Bosnia, and Germany as well as performing in Holland as a member of the Lucky Strikes Tour. In addition to television, Nema has appeared in several independent films such as Gangsta Rap: The Glockumentary, Issues, One More Round, So Fresh So Clean…A Down and Dirty Comedy, N.T.V. Volumes 1 & 2, Sugar Valentine, and Out on Parole and performed in the theater productions I Sing for Love and Not a Day Goes By. Nema is a rising star in film, television, and comedy and is currently in development with the National Lampoons franchise working on a script that he has written. Most recently Nema shot a pilot with Robert Townsend called “Night On The Townsend” If you don’t already know the name Nema Williams, you soon will.
