Jay Lamontis originally from Oklahoma City, Ok, but presently resides in Los Angeles CA. He's a graduate of Langston University with a B.A. Degree in Broadcast Journalism. Jay started out working as a radio personality for radio stations in Oklahoma City and Houston, Texas. After relocating to Houston, he began to embark on a career in the comedy business as well as a singer. Entertainer. During the time in Houston, Jay was invited to perform at a local comedy club where he met various individuals who would help in broadening my career. Jay has performed on the first season of BET's Comicview and later, Comedy Central, Showtime At The Apollo, Russell Simmon's Def Comedy Jam and Jamie Foxx presents Laffapalooza.
He has performed with such greats as the late Luther Vandross and Roger Troutman. Jay has performed with The Gap Band, The O'Jays, Charlie Wilson, Anita Baker, Ledisi, MAZE featuring Frankie Beverly, D.L. Hughley, Steve Harvey, Tommy Davidson, Cedric The Entertainer, Mike Epps, Jamie Foxx and many more. Look out for his latest project entitled Jammin Jay Lamont "Back Down Memory Lane" showcase. Jay is multi talented as he is also a member of two R&B groups in which he the lead vocalist. Jay last remarks were "See you in Las Vegas".
